Our first weekend back

Last weekend was our first full weekend back in the UK after our marathon trip to the US! We spent it celebrating Rob's step-father, Will's, 60th birthday in East Grinstead. Rob's brother and sister-in-law came from Germany with our niece Hannah who is growing up so quickly. When last we saw her she was just starting to walk properly and couldn't speak at all, now she is demanding ice cream and running all over the place!

Hannah, our niece, enjoying a very healthy ice cream dinner.

The birthday party consisted of a homemade curry meal, cake, and presents. Will was given a fantastic board game, which I'm totally in love with. The London Board Game is for all London Transport geeks, which I am becoming. You have to work you way around the Tube avoiding closures and other hazards, you must visit six stations and make your way back to your home station before everyone else. I think I'm going to try and add this to our usual bridge night games from now.

It was very nice to catch up with family and celebrate such a milestone with Will, he shares his Diamond Jubliee with the Queen! Here, here!
